Tell us an interesting fact about you
I grew up abroad living in Cyprus and Egypt because my parents worked for a Christian aid agency.
Why are you passionate about digital?
Because of the reach and the impact digital can have. It's incredible that these days anyone with a phone has the possibility to broadcast to such a wide audience.
Name a hero of yours and why?
Darlene Rose. I've recently read her biography of her time in Papua New Guinea serving as a missionary and her time surviving in a prisoner of war camp during WWII. Her trust and obedience to Christ struck me as extraordinary and the way she lived as a Christian in the PoW camp was remarkable. Incredible life story of trusting God through hardship and struggles.
What can people expect from your session?
We'll be looking at how to gain more views on your YouTube videos. With so much video content out there we'll be looking at some helpful techniques for differentiating your content and how to promote your videos through different channels.
What most excites you about # PremDAC18 (other than your own session!)?
The chance to learn off so many other folk who will be there whether they are leading sessions or delegates. There's always a great buzz at the conference and you meet loads of folk who are equally interested in how they can use digital to serve their churches and communities.
