Speaker Spotlight: Glen Scrivener

Glen Scrivener is a speaker, author and filmmaker who directs the ministry Speak Life. His great passion is to introduce people to Jesus and he lives in Eastbourne with his wife Emma, his daughter Ruby and son JJ.

Why are you passionate about digital?

What we love we share and as we share - person to person - our message can go viral and impact the world. That's true of the gospel and it's true of digital - really they're a match made in heaven. If we want to share the gospel we should be thrilled by the opportunities of the new media.

Name a hero of yours and why?

Martin Luther - God's volcano. For all his many faults, Luther was gripped by the good news and his spiritual liberation turned the world upside down. Interestingly he took advantage of the new media of his day - the printing press - and through his "shareable content", the gospel went viral. A great model for us today.

What can people expect from your session?

I want to enthuse and inspire us to see digital outreach as part of God's great mission to the world. Technology has always played a key role in getting the gospel out to the nations and our new technologies provide incredible opportunities to make much of Jesus

What most excites you about #PremDAC19?

PremDAC is unmissable. Partnerships are forged, friendships are made, ministry is inspired, and hundreds are equipped to share Christ online. Can't wait!
