Jermaine Dallas is a writer and broadcaster with a background in print journalism. Currently a Senior Copywriter at Edelman, Jermaine is responsible for written content for some of the largest and most exciting global brands. Jermaine is a trained journalist who worked on business and consumer magazines based in the North of England. He moved to London in 2011 to begin life in public relations where he used his writing expertise in a new arena. He's been enjoying this challenge ever since. Jermaine is also a radio presenter with shows on Premier Gospel and Premier Praise.
Why are you passionate about digital?
Digital channels give us a way to multiply the impact we have with our content. We now have access to global audiences from our living rooms – without the need for multimillion-pound TV satellites. It’s down to our creativity to make best use of these new opportunities.
Name a hero of yours and why.
Moses because he was a techie at heart. He had two tablets! Eat that, Apple!
What can people expect from your session?
A practical approach to developing really strong content that makes people sit up and pay attention. We’ll talk about what great content looks like, why it’s important and the techniques and tools you’ll need to take your copywriting to the next level.
What most excites you about #PremDAC19?
I’m a bit of a gadget head so I’m looking forward to hearing about how we can use new technologies to do things differently. I’m particularly looking forward to the session on voice technology.
