Tell us an interesting fact about you
I love Ethiopia, so much so that when my 3 children were very young we all spent a couple of months there. The eldest is planning to go back with our church next year.
Why are you passionate about digital?
We have more ways to communicate than ever before, and we serve a communicating God. Endless possibilities. I work at CPO and this is why it exists: simply to help churches with communications, which has to include digital communication.
Name a hero of yours and why?
Assuming Jesus the right answer? Also my Grandma, age 94 and thriving. And the three graphic designers who sold their houses in 1957 to set up CPO and help churches. Back then it was about posters. Now it’s about far more than that. They took a step of faith.
What can people expect from your session?
No guilt, no jargon, but hopefully lots of take home ideas from churches on how to make the most of social media for digital evangelism. There’ll be a couple of other surprise guests taking part in the session to share their experiences. I’m really excited to hear what they’ll say.
What most excites you about # PremDAC18 (other than your own session!)?
