Why are you passionate about digital?
I love that we are only at the beginning of its capabilities and that there is so much more to come. Digital represents endless possibilities. I love the ever-changing nature of the digital landscape. I love that digital technologies continue to level the playing field so more people have the chance to realise their dreams, whatever they are. I love the fact that digital brings the world collectively closer, while simultaneously broadening our individual horizons.
I love the fact that digital is forward facing, always looking to improve and so encourages us to do the same.
Name a hero of yours and why?
My hero is my mother. Because she exemplifies what it means to be a disciple. She put God first, then her family, then her church. She is always learning, always reading, always dreaming and always striving. I love and admire her greatly.
What can people expect from your session?
Participants who attend my session should expect to be challenged to re-visit the ways in which they use digital to engage with young people. Participants will be pushed to be brutally honest with the efficacy of their current digital strategy.
What most excites you about # PremDAC18 (other than your own session!)?
#PremDAC18 provides a unique opportunity to network with individuals who equally see the importance and opportunity that technology brings. I am excited about the potential for fresh insights, new friends and unique opportunities to collaborate and create something that currently does not exist.
