Name a hero of yours and why?

Catherine Booth, who co-founded the Salvation Army with her husband William, is my heroine. She was passionate that others would meet Jesus and she worked to communicate God’s love in ways that made sense to those around her. Going outside the church to engage with those who never came, adapting methods of mission but holding to the message of the love of God in Jesus.

What can people expect from your session?

In my session we’ll look at the power of digital for evangelism, being inspired together to seize the opportunities and grapple with the challenges. What’s different, what changes? What is God calling us to at this time in the digital arena.

What most excites you about # PremDAC18 (other than your own session!)?

I’m so excited about #premDAC18, being together with a crowd of people passionate to understand all that the digital world keeps offering the church for our common mission task. The conference really is a gathering I enjoy, being together with so many like-minded people. A place to learn, a place to share, a place to dream and a place to plan to use the digital to build God’s kingdom here on earth.
