Why are you passionate about digital?

I am passionate about digital because it opens so many doors for us to learn new things, to be inspired and to network with people from all over the world. What it takes to succeed is being authentic, honest and having a unique, personal voice.

Name a hero of yours and why.

I would say Digital Heroes – they are 7+ year olds participating in a training programme in Wales that aims to bring younger and older people together. Today there are over 2,500 of them. Once they have been trained, they help older people in their communities to use and enjoy technology. You can find out more about them here.

What can people expect from your session?

They can expect to learn how to create and launch a digital and mobile fundraising campaign from scratch, the main methods of digital fundraising, what makes a good digital fundraising campaign and plenty of tips and ideas they can use to raise money and engage with new donors in the digital world.

What most excites you about #PremDAC19?

I’m excited about the opportunities to listen and learn from other speakers. Things change so fast in the digital world so attending this conference is a great way to discover new trends and soak up new insights and ideas. Also, I am excited about catching up with friends and networking with other delegates.
