Why are you passionate about digital?
For the young people with whom I work, digital is all they have known and all they will ever know. It’s an integral part of the modern world providing so many exciting opportunities for growth; it builds relationships, helps organisations to rise up, but can also break both!
Name a hero of yours and why?
My heroes have to be the leaders I’ve previously worked and served under, along with God, for teaching me what it means to be a leader myself – persisting and striving for excellence in both the great and tough times.
What can people expect from your session?
The digital world moves at a pace faster than most of us can keep up with, so my session will talk you through the characteristics of all things digital, and the main ways that you can and should get involved.
What most excites you about # PremDAC18 (other than your own session!)?
#PremDAC18 helps to set the bar for Christians in all areas of what a credible and Christ-like digital presence could look like. I constantly refer people to listen to previous speakers and to check out previous award-winners. Plus, it’s a safe place to be a nerd!
