Why are you passionate about digital?

Digital provides an exciting playground to be creative, innovative and to try new things. This brings endless possibilities as to what we can do with it.

But I'm also fascinated by digital's effect on us: our culture, how we relate to one another, and our understanding of ourselves and God. In many ways, I think we're only at the beginning of fully making sense of digital as an entity - the mystery of it all definitely keeps me intrigued!

Name a hero of yours

Jane Eyre. She had a great influence on me growing up, and I aspired to be like her! I admire her grit, determination, integrity, compassion and commitment to being true to herself, no matter what pressures there are to conform. In all of these things, she is underpinned by a very deep faith.

What can people expect from your session?

We'll be exploring the questions raised by doing fellowship online, specifically in messaging groups such as WhatsApp. Fellowship is generally understood as something that happens face to face, but how does this translate digitally? Do important elements of fellowship get left behind, or does digital fellowship offer an opportunity to more meaningfully engage with one another and grow in faith?

What most excites you about #PremDAC19?

I'm really looking forward to meeting other people who are also passionate about faith and digital, and learning from them!
