Virtual churches – a list of places to visit

Currently most of the world is on lockdown. Many countries have implemented self-isolation and strict restrictions where citizens are limited in their movements outside the house to either go out for essential goods or for one form of exercise.  This includes restrictions on going to places of worship.

With this, many physical churches have closed their doors to their congregations and are turning to technology to stream services or upload pre-recorded videos to platforms such as YouTube.

Church buildings are sitting there as the Church body join together via the internet and unite with the community and are being “the Church” without the means of the building via WhatsApp & Facebook groups and phone & video calls. But isolation is a struggle as we miss going outside and exploring new places with family and friends. But there is still hope in exploring as we delve into different possibilities online.

The next best thing, and a different form of online church, are 360° virtual tours around some of the most iconic and renowned buildings globally. Giving you 24hour access, 7 days a week, these tours allow entry to places which would normally require a fee and waiting in a queue!
